Prosthetics
At Rebound, we strive to blend patient goals with our expertise to create truly one-of-a-kind devices that maximize and restore function to levels prior to amputation. We utilize the latest technologies and work with every manufacturer of prosthetic devices/componentry to ensure we can design the prosthesis that works best for each individual. We don't just provide a prosthetic device; we are your partner in navigating life after an amputation.
What Is a Prosthetist?
A prosthetist is a healthcare professional who designs and fits artificial limbs, working closely with patients, doctors, physical therapists, and other care team members to tailor a prosthetic device to the individual’s specific requirements. Throughout this collaborative process, the prosthetist engages directly with the patient to set objectives and expected results, ensuring the selection of appropriate components, socket design, suspension, and aesthetics to enhance the functionality of the prosthesis and empower the patient to reach their desired goals.
